About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and nurturing team in Peckham, London. As a key member of our early years setting, you will provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth in a stimulating environment. Ensure a safe and secure setting, adhering to all safeguarding and health & safety policies. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Work collaboratively with the team to uphold the nursery’s values and high standards. Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, nappy changing, and sleep schedules. Stay up to date with childcare best practices and attend training as required.
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent). Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting. Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles. A passion for working with young children and supporting their growth. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A positive, caring, and proactive attitude. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
