Job Title: Pre-School Room Leader

Salary: £26,500 - £28,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Pre-School Room Leader to join our team in Peckham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to lead and inspire a team in a vibrant, nurturing early years setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the pre-school room, ensuring a high standard of care and education for children. Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework. Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can develop and thrive. Support and mentor staff within the room, ensuring best practices are followed. Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies. Maintain accurate records and ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are adhered to.

Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent). Experience working in an early years setting, preferably in a leadership role. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Passionate about early childhood development and creating a positive learning environment.
