Job Title: Senior Early Years Educator
Location: Horsham
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (4 days a week, 07:45 - 18:00)

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Early Years Educator to join our dynamic team in Horsham. As a Senior Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality care and education to children, with a particular focus on those under 2 years old. You will be responsible for supporting the development and well-being of young children, as well as leading and mentoring junior staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Level 3 qualifications in Early Years Education and a genuine love for working with babies and toddlers. If you are enthusiastic, nurturing, and have the ability to foster an engaging, safe, and stimulating environment for young children, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and early education for children under 2 years old, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities to support children’s physical, emotional, and social development. Lead by example, offering guidance and support to junior educators, ensuring they adhere to best practices and regulatory requirements.Conduct observations and assessments of children’s development, ensuring accurate records are maintained. Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers, ensuring effective communication and support. Create an inclusive and supportive environment that promotes the individual needs of each child. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the setting by sharing ideas and working collaboratively with the team.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding practices, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.Work closely with the management team to ensure that high standards of care and education are maintained at all times.

Key Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. Experience working with children under 2 years olds. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development. Flexibility and a proactive approach to work. An understanding of the importance of maintaining a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for children.
