Senior Nursery Nurse

About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Nursery Nurse to join our warm and welcoming nursery in Bushey, Herts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated childcare professional to take the next step in their career, supporting young children’s development and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. Lead and support nursery staff, ensuring best practices are followed. Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum. Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff. Monitor and record children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met. Support the management team with day-to-day nursery operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for early years education.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS requirements.
- First Aid and DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
